Question for Bill on PRD/DR/Haiti/CIA Connection

The PRD is the DR's now retired President Mejia's political party. Some in the DR are claiming mostly anonymously that Mejia supported early coup attempts against Aristide in 2001 (I.E.: December 2001 assault on Port-au-Prince National Palace).  Have you found any Narco/CIA connections with Mejia?  Any Narco/CIA connections with DR military?

See this interview with Stann Goff by Anthony Fenton at http://www.zmag.org/content/showarticle.cfm?ItemID =5636
This DR General Nobles Espejo claims Haitian rebels were being trained at a DR military base called Constanza which is in the center of the DR (this was under Mejia's time in office).  Would have been during the 2001-2003 period.  If you can find any information I would apprecaite it, email me at jebsprague[nospam]@mac.com
