Update: Mohawks Kahentinetha and Katenies in Custody When Beaten by Border Agents

I enjoy your Legacy U.S. Customs and ICE stories dealing with the Arizona and Sonora, Mexico border. Do you know if ICE still has the group of Native Americans employed as Customs special agents or Customs Patrol Officers assigned to the Naco, Arizona area? This group of hard-working dedicated federal law enforcement officers had some very hard time getting promoted under the old U.S. Customs Service. I wonder, if they are still operating under the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). If they do, can you shed some light as to how this group is organized and if they are in the job classification as special agents (criminal investigators) grade GS-1811-13s. To my knowledge they made lots of drug seizures and arrests in the 1980s, and 1990s. Also, they were very good "foot trackers."

All of that only to say that this is serious proof that Canadian PM Harper's "apology" on June 11th was as many critics say and which is representative of yet more hypocrisy; unfortunately. Well, I guess I'll add a little more, after all; now that my mind's awoken a little. They are not letting up on Ms Horn and Katenies, or simply MNN, MohawkNationNews.com and its providers, at all; having recently read that the imperialist, colonialist, corporatist state that Canadian "elites" have made of it tried to shut down MNN some months back, while also claiming that Ms Horn had chosen to cease providing MNN, which she excellently refuted, saying it's absolutely not true. Of course those who did this definitely knew that they were [lying]. After all, they knew they were making the claim and that it was not based on any news from Ms Horn, who, I believe, is the lead provider of MNN. The excerpt's important, as also is the whole article, however I only included the quote for referring to Rev. Kevin Annett, who provides two documentary websites; while I'll only include a link to one, where there's a link to the other website. I don't know how many different subjects he covers on the various and ongoing issues for Canadian First Nations or Aboriginal Peoples, however he extensively covers the horrors committed in the notorious 'Residential Schools system'. No wonder we're so dumbed down; we have deafening silence, as well as lies, instead of [real] and therefore truthful education. Wherein we receive real education, it's evidently and much too superficial. I visited her website and see that I've found myself another excellent online resource for news on issues for Indigenous peoples in the geographical areas that she covers.
