Hatfields and McCoy's comment

I agree with what you are saying and reporting - I have worked with Triquis as friend and family for many years - I think that you should not dismiss the Triqui man's comment that there are vengance killings or "feuding" - I have spoken with many Triqui people, and known Triqui people who have been killed, and many say that there has been fighting there since their grandparents time, and that it is vengance or envidia - of course, the last twenty years, and especially recently, it has become politicized and taken advantage of and fostered and even funded by the State and factions of the Federal government of Mexico; the government has made it much, much, much, much worse and should be held accountable internationally - however, I think that it is poor reporting to dismiss out of hand a native Triqui person's comment - rather, it should be included in the context of which it was shared - that some small scale feuding in the past has been blown up into socio-political groups which maintain paramilitaries funded by the mal govierno - However, human nature being what it is, blood vendettas and revenge gets into the mix.
