Submitted August 22, 2008 - 8:38 am by Molly MolloyThere is no single explanation for the violence in Juarez. I cannot claim to answer all the WHY questions. The reason that the massacre at the CIAD #8 stands out is because of the large number of people killed in one place, at one time. Since August 13, the death toll is now 166 for the month of August and 860 for the year. http://www.diario.com.mx/nota.php?notaid=2c4268597a2397474ebc97b5c66ae6e... And this toll does not include the massacre in Creel, Chihuahua on August 15, where 13 members of a family were slaughtered at a social event. I do not think speculating about WHY, even if I could guess correctly, would help to solve the problem. Certainly, the Mexican Army has not solved the problem.
just a couple of questions...
Submitted August 24, 2008 - 1:03 pm by afp (not verified)why is that we (people from sinaloa) are the only ones knowing that the mexican gobernment is only targeting the beltran leyva cartel, el golfo cartel, arellano felix cartel, carrillo fuentes cartel and los zetas? you guys should make a special report about why the mexican gobernment are not doing anything to aprehend ismael zambada garcia "el mayo", joaquin archivaldo guzman loera "el chapo" and ignacio coronel villarreal "nacho" (this last individual is the responsible for the 95% of the cristal meth that makes it's way to the u.s through mexico), these three individuals are the bosses of the infamous "cartel de sinaloa" and the three of them have the military forces to their disposal for their personal protection (with the blessings of the president of mexico felipe calderon hinojosa and the governor of sinaloa jesus aguilar padilla)...and another thing, why the did the u.s gave money to the mexican gobernment to help them fight the so called "war on drugs" knowing how god damn corrup they are? the only thing the u.s are doing it's helping the drug cartels under the mexican gobernment protection to take down their enemies (ciudad juarez it's a clear example of that) the u.s should have sent a special forces group to kick some drug lords's asses...im sorry for my bad english.
Juarez Killings
Submitted September 3, 2008 - 12:03 pm by Anonymous (not verified)Just FYI. From what I understand, the Zetas are now working for Vicente Carrillo Fuentes. VCF is of course responsible for all of the killings in Juarez and the sorrounding areas. Do you want to know the scary part of all this? That the "military" that was brought into Juarez streets to supposedly fight the cartel is the military that is under the Sinaloa Cartel. Which if you know anything about what is going on, VCF and the Sinaloa cartel are the ones at war. The question is, will this ever end?
