While most of us were getting fired in newsrooms for telling the truth about the war in Iraq, Scott McClellan was sitting pretty in the White House.
Well, at least now Bush's former press officer has come clean. McClellan wrote a book to expose what a liar Bush was about the war in Iraq and what a screw-up the president was when Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans.
For a swirl of whipped cream on this dessert, McClellan exposes the naked facts about the brainless and easily-manipulated mainstream media in the U.S.
The sad part is that a lot of women and children in Iraq might be alive today if he had spoken up sooner.Maybe, a few less people would have been tortured to death by the US military in Iraq and Afghanistan if he had spoken up sooner.
Maybe fewer US soldiers would have died in the bogus war if he had spoken out.
Maybe there would be less people in secret prisons if McClellan would have spoken out in defense of humanity and truth instead of waiting for a convenient time to tell the truth, while poised for the royalty checks to flow in.
