Will drugwar related violence south of the border make Americans alter their old ways?

It wouldn't be too far fetched to say that Mexicans have become the new subhuman parasites that must be extinguished like cockroaches (now that blacks have achieved equality), and that is why the drug war continues unabated—because mind alteration has been a staple of Mexican culture for millennia. It would be like making whiskey illegal for rednecks.

When people started getting killed in the U.S. over alcohol, the prohibition came to a halt. Why? Because it had gotten out of control, and they were not willing to have blood on their hands over something that was after all, cultural in nature. But can the same be said when people are dying all over Mexico in this current prohibition? Current American attitudes regarding drugs are bordering on ignorance or racism, one of the two.

If the white folks cared as much for 'beaners' (from a basic human-rights perspective) as they did for their own kind (not meaning there aren't problems north of the border...just not as severe), then they would legalize all drugs right now and say: “OK, this has gone far enough. It's bordering on madness south of the border, and our own costs far outweigh the benefits. We can't continue on like this. We need to revise our thinking.”

Sadly, I won't be holding my breath for that to occur…
