Arizona Wanting To Control Immigration Is Nobody’s Business But Arizona’s
I don’t follow why suddenly people in California (or any other place that is calling for a boycott) have to worry about what Arizona does. Why does Obama need to give his 2 cents, like he’s some genius philosopher… or the fake president of Mexico when he came to the United States, and all Congress applauded while he put Arizona down… I mean, doesn’t he have enough problems in Ciudad Juarez to worry about, you know what I’m saying?! And Obama has stuck his foot in his mouth before, and he had to have a ‘beer summit’ to try to patch it up, remember that one? He obviously played it safe here, catering to the anti-racist sentiment. Obviously racism is not a nice trait, but if that’s what people want to be, then let them. Please deport me, if you so choose, just don’t be vague about what your position is. Either deport me or shut up. I will respect either decision, honest.
You may be asking where am I going with this, why take such an unpopular position. First of all because I want states that decide to legalize weed, to be left alone because only the folks from a certain state can decide what’s good or bad for that state. Too much federal power is never good. I mean, that would be the traditional ‘American’ position, to let states have self-determination in their own affairs… So, I know that it’s just a dream, because it would get shut down in an instant, but that would be the ideal world, a state that can make its own laws and not have the entire world worrying about its affairs. So therefore, I’m willing to let a state choose other things for itself, like immigration enforcement or what not, in the hope that when they would legalize weed, that their wish would be respected as well. Then, I would just move there, after getting my papers in order of course. Wouldn’t want to get kicked out the minute I arrived…you feel me??
To sum up, immigration is a touchy subject and it should be left to folks from a certain location to figure it out for themselves. I am not there. I do not know the particular circumstances that led to their decision, but I assume it was arrived at in a legal fashion. I mean there are general rules—nothing wrong with some order (but chaos should likewise be respected). I’m not going to trust what Obama or anybody says more than my own reasoning and judgment, or the media for that matter. Seems they always have some agenda in mind when they report some item in the news, trying to get that Hispanic audience for example. It would be great that Latinos had this much influence but part of their record is helping to elect Bush, so you can have a thousand items on your record but if ‘helping to elect Bush’ is one of them, might as well burn the entire piece of paper or flush it down the toilet, if you understand what I’m saying. By comparison to Bush, Obama is a corporatist.

CA spending boycott AZ
Submitted on June 19th, 2010 by VP (not verified)Every state is a seperate entity that has joined in union to form the Corporation of the United States. Before a Supreme Court ruling it was the States United . When a state was admitted into the union they entered into a contract- In that contract the individual states held their soverenty. Yes every state still has soverenty. The internal affairs and legal rulings of the individual states should be left to those states unless it violates the Constitution. Enough junior history, I set my basic point.
Arizona has different problems then California does. We do not interfere when you pass gay rights, when you give illegal aliens an identification, when you ruin your own economy by massive deficite spending, etc. Arizona really can get along without california quite well. Believe me there are more Arizonans spending into the California economy than Californians spending into the Arizona economy.
Do the research before you open the mouth and remember to walk in the other guys shoes before you judge him. There is no correct answer to the problem from either side. BE smart let the law work for a while and modify the law when you see what should be modified but most of all read and understand the law. Don't act without the fact.
Hoping to hear back on this. God Bless all.
