This afternoon, immigration judge William L. Abbot, before beginning the hearing, announced that the Cuban-born terrorist, if not granted asylum in the United States, would be deported to Venezuela
Also today, as this report from Reuters notes, the secretary general of the Organization of American States (OAS), the Chilean Miguel Insulza, stated that if there is evidence against him, Posada should be extradited to Venezuela to face justice.
The hearing will continue tomorrow; it is not expected to last more than five days, and the terrorist himself could testify at any moment
