Would You Donate to Drew Peterson or to a Church?

It appears that being sometimes a bad person  pays off.  Drew Peterson is one such a person.  After reading the Associated Press (AP) publishing what appeared to be a press release issued by Mr. Peterson or his attorney, announcing that now Mr. Peterson had a website and was asking the public for money to help his legal defense and a few other thing, I decide to write this story.  The AP story appears to be the first to hit the Internet and is being posted on this Narco News story.

The Drew Peterson story has been around for a while and it involves Drew Peterson’s fourth wife disappearance.  Mrs. Stacy Peterson or her body has not been found and all fingers point to her husband, Drew Peterson, a former police sergeant as being the person responsible for her disappearance.

"I hope this will bring some money in,'' Peterson's attorney, Joel Brodsky, told ABC News' Law & Justice Unit."Drew is not a rich man and this case will be expensive."

Drew Peterson and his legal defense team are already operating what appears to be an excellent way of making lots of money thanks to the main-media stream and ABC News’ Law & Justice Unit by freely announcing Drew Peterson legal defense fund drive.

This author hopes that the American people with an extra dollar would be able to make a choice:  donate some money to plant and build a small church, which offers totally free counseling, plus other free services or help someone like Drew Peterson who is a possible suspect in his wife Stacy’s disappearance.

This author is asking people to donate whatever their hearts tells them to the Mission Assembly of God in order to buy a lot and build a modular small church.  It is estimated that approximately $300,000 are needed to buy a lot and build such a church building.

The Pastor, who is also a Christian and Pastoral Counselor, with the assistance of his wife has been providing totally free counseling to believers and non-believers with their problems such as drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, and child sex abuse, to name a few.

The counseling services are being conducted at the Pastor’s residence.  The Pastor who is credentialed with the Assemblies of God church also preaches for free at local rehabilitation centers. The Mission Assembly of God’s website is www.missionassembly.org.

When the Mission Assembly of God was a home-church, its members used to  congregate at the Pastor’s residence.  It was believed that his church was the only church or center in the United States offering totally free counseling services to anybody who asked for help.

This author challenges all main-media stream organizations, as well as all news media organizations, Internet News and Bloggers to post this Narco News story. This author assures you that you will receive millions of hits.

Now, you decide where you want to donate and send your extra dollar to the Mission Assembly of God or Drew Peterson.  If you decide to donate to the church, please make a check payable to the Mission Assemblies of God (tax-free donation) and mail it to: Mission Assembly of God, c/o Church Planting, 3767 West 18th Place, Yuma, Arizona 85364.

Site set up to raise money for Drew Peterson's legal defense crashes by the Associated Press - December 11, 2007 8:44 PM ET

CHICAGO (AP) - A Web site set up to raise donations for former police sergeant Drew Peterson's legal defense crashed this evening.

Peterson, who's a suspect in his wife's disappearance, set up the site.

Peterson's attorney, Joel Brodsky, says DefendDrew.com went down after receiving more than a million hits today. He says it's being moved to a more powerful server to accommodate the traffic.

Brodsky says any money collected will go into a trust. It'll be used for legal fees and to hire a private investigator to look for Stacy Peterson. Any remaining money will be put into a trust for Peterson's children.

Peterson has denied involvement in his wife's disappearance. His lawyer says the number of Web site hits shows his client has many supporters.
