Obama Leads Clinton Nationally: Setting the Record Straight

According to the Associate press, "While Obama has a mostly favorable image among white Democrats, those with unfavorable views about him are likelier to say equal rights for minorities have gone too far and to oppose interracial dating. Almost one in four white Democrats who view Obama unfavorably also think he is Muslim, when in fact he is Christian."

It is very disturbing news that we still must fight bigotry, racism and White Supremasist in the United States of America, a great country I call it home.

Wikipedia defines White supremacy is a racist ideology based on the assertion that white people are superior to other racial groups. The term is sometimes used specifically to describe a political ideology that advocates social and political dominance for whites. White supremacy, as with racial supremacism in general, is rooted in ethnocentrism and a desire for hegemony. It is associated with varying degrees of racism and xenophobia as well as a desire for racial separation. White supremacy has often resulted in anti-black racism and antisemitism, although it has also involved prejudice and discrimination against a wide variety of "non-white" groups, including Arabs and the various Asian peoples.

It is a sad fact that after so many years of enduring racial discrimination in the most powerful and popular country of the world, politics are still driven and misguided by a minority of White Supremacists who still carry the KKK hood in their hearts.

For the "open" and "closed" White Supremacists, don't be surprized to learn and/or recall that 2008 marks 40 years since several notable events took place in America in 1968: 1) the Civil Rights Movement; 2) The Vietnam War; 3) Robert F. Kennedy was shot dead; 4) Dr. Martin Luther King was shot dead; and 5) Richard Nixon wins close contest for U.S. President, only to resign in 1974 over the Watergate scandal.  These are only a handfull of notable events that rocked our great country in 1968.

If you are a Religious Bible believer or historian, remember that the Bible is full of notable events that took place every 40 years.

Let's see and wait what the rest of 2008 brings to America.  Don't be surprized of the things that mankind cannot change.

While Obama has a mostly favorable image among white Democrats, those with unfavorable views about him are likelier to say equal rights for minorities have gone too far and to oppose interracial dating. Almost one in four white Democrats who view Obama unfavorably also think he is Muslim, when in fact he is Christian. Obama and Clinton both continue to hold slender leads nationally in matchups against the all-but-certain Republican candidate, John McCain.
