Hearing Slated for Bush's FY 2007 State Dept. Budget

A House Appropriations Committee panel has scheduled a hearing on March 8 to review the President's proposed fiscal year 2007 budget for the State Dept. Secy. of State Condoleeza Rice is slated to testify before the Foreign Operations, Export Financing & Related Programs Subcommittee. The hearing, which will be held in a still-unspecified House office building (although this typically takes place in the Rayburn Bldg. or the Capitol Bldg.), also will be Webcast. Check back later at the committee Web site for updated details.
